Articles for conversation - #35

The mystery of the disappearing TV show: What is happening to so many big budget series and why are they being cancelled?

It’s probably not a mystery. Streaming platforms are of course in the business of making money, and are always looking for ways to cut costs. But what happens when projects are cancelled, or abandonded in some cases? Can anything be done about it, or should viewers just get used to seeing so many shows removed from platforms.

Find out more about this in the links below, along with a couple of other interesting stories from the internet this week.

Here are the articles for this week’s conversation classes. Of course, you can still use these even if you are not taking conversation classes. I look forward to hearing what you have to say. Please let me know if you have any issues accessing these.

Try to note some new or interesting language that you see or hear in the articles or video and bring it to the class.
