Articles for conversation - #46

It’s time for the Booker Prize and a great chance to find the next book for your reading list. In one of these articles, the authors of the books shortlisted for this award talk about the stories that have inspired their writings. This left me with a question: If you could write a book from a story in your life, what would it be about?

Along with this are a video about reading in the modern age, and another article on how to stay dedicated to a long-term project for many years — regardless of whether it is a professional project, or a personal one.

Here are the articles for this week’s conversation classes. Of course, you can still use these even if you are not taking conversation classes. I look forward to hearing what you have to say. Please let me know if you have any issues accessing these.

Try to note some new or interesting language that you see or hear in the articles or video and bring it to the class.
