Articles for conversation - #41

To start getting you in the Halloween mood, we have a story about the most haunted house in Britain. Although some people may not believe in ghosts, there is no denying the strange events and creepy atmosphere of this place.

The video on this haunted house is hosted by a person with a fairly heavy North Wales accent. Although this accent is easily noticed by Brits, it would be interesting to hear from you all as to whether you can notice any differences!

Here are the articles for this week’s conversation classes. Of course, you can still use these even if you are not taking conversation classes. I look forward to hearing what you have to say. Please let me know if you have any issues accessing these.

Try to note some new or interesting language that you see or hear in the articles or video and bring it to the class.
