Articles for conversation - #42

Happy Halloween! This week’s links are all Halloween themed, but not all spooky. Whether you celebrate or not, I’m sure you will find something interesting in amongst these stories.

The collection of stories includes a look at mythical monsters in local legends, why people like scary films, and a British comedian sharing a ghost story that has stayed with him for a while.

Here are the articles for this week’s conversation classes. Of course, you can still use these even if you are not taking conversation classes. I look forward to hearing what you have to say. Please let me know if you have any issues accessing these.

Try to note some new or interesting language that you see or hear in the articles or video and bring it to the class.
